Come participate in the 9th Annual Jingle Tails on Tuesday, December 13th, starting at 5:30 p.m. We are hosting this event in partnership with the Oakland Zoo and the Alameda County Community Food Bank. Just go to the Main Entrance area of the Oakland Zoo located at 9777 Golf Links Road in Oakland. We ask that each family member bring a nonperishable food item to receive free admission to the zoo. Protein rich items desired.

According to Alameda County Community Food Bank, one in six Alameda County residents rely on the donations provided at the food bank – roughly 50,000 people per week. You can help end hunger in Alameda County by donating a can of tuna, a jar of peanut butter or other non-perishable food item at the Jingle Tails Holiday Event.

This year's much anticipated ZooLights will feature larger-than-life, energy-efficient LED light displays and holiday music at more than 120 animal structures. Thanks to ZooLights' green technology, you can enjoy the festivities and the light displays that mirror the Oakland Zoo's year-round animal residents.
