News Conference: Bonta Announces Implementation of Human Trafficking Prevention Law

(Sacramento) - Assemblymember Rob Bonta (D-Oakland) has introduced Assembly Bill 1227 to develop education programs and training procedures to make our children aware of the menace of human trafficking, “There is a crisis throughout the nation, and especially here in California,” says Assemblymember Bonta. “In order to reduce the vulnerability of our children and begin to eradicate human trafficking, we need to develop strong comprehensive prevention education and training procedures throughout the state.” Assemblymember Bonta is joined by California Attorney General Xavier Becerra to discuss the need for AB 1227.
